K.K.IRISU at the Nanotech 2024
K.K.IRISU (C. ILLIES & CO., LTD.) introduced at the Nanotech 2024 exhibition (January 31-February 2, 2024) the Identifier C, developed and manufactured by Stadtpiel, Switzerland, which measures environmental exposure to carbon nanotubes.
Nanomaterial detectors by Stat Peel AG have been patented in Japan and other countries for high-precision detection of carbon nanotubes, nanopowders, and nanofibers by Raman spectroscopy, enabling quantitative detection of nanomaterials with high-performance sensors. The carbon nanotube exposure measurement device "Identifier C" introduced here can quantitatively measure carbon nanotubes suspended in the environment using a filter slide built into a small badge. It also automatically collects work logs and compiles them into a database, making it easy to measure environmental exposures on a daily basis.
Stat Peel AG is developing a nanofiber collection badge that can be easily used by workers or at the work site, and a detection system that simultaneously identifies nanofibers from the badge and collects data. Monitoring and visualization of nanofibers and other hazardous materials will help to avoid possible future risks to human health and ensure a safe working environment.
